The ANGOULEME international comics festival is arguably the largest comics-oriented exhibition of the free world, with an attendance averaging 200,000 each year, i.e. twice the Cannes film festival and thrice the San Diego Comicon. In my time I chronicled my first visit of a unique event.

FLASH GORDON is one of the most famous adventure strip characters, created in 1933 by Alex Raymond.

 INTERNOTES - That chronicle appears regularly in Scarce and describes the various uses of the internet by comics collectors.

- The golden age of the original super-hero team.

- In Khund dialect, Lobo means "he who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it". Nuff' said...

SIERRE is a nice little town of the Swiss Alps. In June it nests one of the funnest comics convention in Europe. Follow the guide.
